ces 2011

It’s been a glum time for the exhibit sector in recent years but, thankfully, there are signs that the industry is getting back on its feet.

Here at Best In Show we already covered how CES was attracting a lot more international exhibitors. See “International Tech Companies Invade Las Vegas”.

Research by the Center for Exhibition Industry Research (CEIR) alongside Oxford Economics show that visa issues are costing $2.4 billion in lost sales.

The snappily titled survey, The Economic Impact of International Non-Participation in the Exhibition Industry Due to US Visa Issues, found that visa issues prevented…. Read the rest of this entry »

This week the city is home to the world’s largest consumer technology tradeshow event, the 2011 International CES show [January 6-11], and the good news is that 1,200 technology companies from outside the Unites States are expected to exhibit there.
